Clutch bleeding question
Clutch bleeding question Hello, I have a quick clutch question, yesterday I went out and bleed my clutch, I followed the instructions in my Haynes manual and it told me to raise the car then lower it. I was by myself and couldn't see how lowering it would matter, so I just opened the cap and pumped the actuator. I put everything back together and at first it seemed okay but then it started acting funny again, (if I hold the clutch in and it's in gear the car will start to move on it's own, and then when I remove my foot the pedal will slowly return to it's normal postion, so when i drive I can't leave the clutch in, I have to constantly remove it and put it in nuetral)
So my question is, should I try and re-bleed it when it's lowered on the ground? (also whats the point of using wire and tying up the actuator?) Or do you guys think my hydraulics could be going bad?
