Man, those numbers are disappointments. SOTP I figured it'd be 20hp and 20tq higher than that. And yeah, that tranny does need some help, lol.

Those plugs were pretty brand new. When we pulled them over Christmas break for the cam swap they were perfect. So the plugs went bad in 3 months???? Man, car must have been running crazy rich.

And Kev, well I guess it's time for some heads, lol. They did look good though.

i'm wondering since it was run untuned for so long if it wouldn't be a good idea to run some seafoam through...maybe some carbon build-up is hurting my power a little...any ideas?

We didn't mess with any brackets on the back of the engine for the cam swap.. whoever did the heads might have. Seems like the wireloom was cracked.. can't remember. Not sure if we had anything to do with that.. in any event glad it was an easy fix! It is a nice car.

Thanks,
Josh

Sounds like a good idea. If the plugs were that bad, something else may be messed up too. And get a pulley, TB, and retune for 400rwhp

Tq curve looks nice, btw.

i'd rather not have to make so many drives down there it is 100miles...where should i get a throttle body from...i'll prolly get those two things and have revx retune it...after driving it a little while and finding new issues i'm going to have to say that the tune wasn't what i was expecting...for $500 i was hoping that all the issues would be worked out...i'm hoping dino will take care of some of the stuff without haveing me pay more money

We will get you taken care of.... Even Jeremy doesn't get them 100% perfect the first time every time. Some cars are more picky than others, and things like weather, gas, and little stuff like that will effect some cars more than others. So we'll get it figured out and get you running better.

I had the problem fixed 4 months ago. It was a wire that had been cut and hit the frame (causing the fuse to blow). Main Sensor fuse is located in the 1 of the two fuse boxes under the hood. Don't know which one, but it should be labeled. I can't believe this got brought back from april. haha

Yeah basically when the fuse blew the maf no longer worked. That's why my car ran the way it did.

on hp tuners the only code it throws is a right bank o2 sensor. The wireing harness fell ontop of my header. This problem makes sense.

I put the new motor in, it ran fine at first dureing the oil changes. Then I drive it across town. On and off it starts running like crap. It will start shakeing, popping, pinging, I can give it gas and nothing happens then all of a sudden it catches and goes, then stops and acts all retarded. It did throw a weak signal to the MAF code. But I think the problem is the 02 sensor wires and mabey this fuse burnt out. I HOPE this is the problem, it almost HAS to be. If its not then im stuck. Its like 105 degrees outside so Ill go try find which fuse it is a little later when it cools off. Do you know if its one off the smaller ones or a larger one by chance ?

Since I made this my help post, ill go ahead and pos my problem. It was only my rear o2 sensor that was bad. I replaced them and now my car runs fine. However, the spark plugs are fouled out with gas on them.

Mine acted really wierd like that as well. I don't know what the problem was, but I know if it didn't get a good charge it would act like that. Now I replaced both battery and alternator and I don't even have that problem anymore. It used to scare me because my idle would just keep going up and up. I hit the gas to see if it would come down and nope. It idled at 3000rpms. I guess it was something to do with the battery or alternator since it doesn't do it anymore now that I replaced both of them.
