Is my starter going bad?
Is my starter going bad? I got 150K miles on it. I turn the key, one click, then do it again, starts just fine. Last night I had to repeat the process about 20 times. It's got so frequent now that it's doing it almost everytime. Before I spend the money on a starter, someone reassure me that that's it. Battery/alt/plugs/wires/coils are all pretty much new.

The only way to be sure that the starter is bad is to check the draw during cranking. Also knowing whether the battery can handle the normal draw and that the alternator is putting out a full charge will definitely point out the culprit.
From what you described...it sounds like a weak battery. It is difficult to say without testing each component.
