changing a window lift motor im not sure if its the regulator or the motor. here's the problem: my driver's side window goes down, then stops midway. have to wait like a minute before i can make it go down a little more. when going up, i give it an extra lift that helps a little. i figured the lift motor is overheating or something - but not sure - anyone know?
my drivers side window goes up and down, but VERY slowly, could that side also have the same problem?
finally, if i need to change the motor, how tough is it - compared to, say, replacing an instrument cluster bulb?

Sounds like you probably need new window motors.

My passenger side motor went bad, but only had a problem when trying to raise it back up - not sure if yours is the same problem.
