is AMSOIL worth the price?

Those that want to use M1 it is good oil but the all too popular 5w-30 is not right for this motor. I speak specifically of M1 5w-30 and 10w-30 for that matter if you want to use M1 use the 0w-40 or 5w-40. Other brands are just fine in the 5 and 10w-30 again just M1 should be avoided in those weights. Don't believe me let me be about the twelth person to refer you to the Bob is the oil guy site.
Lucas is crap may not show up as badly in engines as gearboxes but that doesn'r mean it is good.
Charging TA I am using Rotella T synthetic 5w-40 in two LT1s right now. I have a UOA posted on the oil boad for my wagon, bottom line was it was doing good but not the ultra low number the German Castrol produces.
