Upper Dash Removal

I have a quick question. The upper dash on my 98 Trans Am has a crack in it. I will be recieving the new one on Monday. Any special tricks to pulling off the old one? It looks like it is just being held by clips, because I dont see any bolts or screws.

if you are talking about the dash pad up top, then yes its got clips and some velcrow holding it on....when you get the side towards you up, dont rush pulling it out, there is a security light you must twist loose before removal.

I also have a crack in my upper dash on my 95TA. Where'd you buy your part from? How much did they want for it?

Take the pastic off the A pillar, because the ends of the dash are under the a pillar. Take th t-tops off, pull two phillips screws, and pull the plastic away.
