Default Window Sketchiness

Window Goes up fine, but as its going down, it does so very roughly, and not consistently, it seems like the teeth on the gear is stripped or something. Any suggestions?

Its the motor going most likely... Common GM problem where they start playing around... Does it have problems going up?

Also might be that the rails need a little grease...

seems like you have a bent regulator or your run channel is messed up....you won't know until you get in there and check things out

I put bearing greese on the teeth and track of large gear that comes up while closing the window, still goes down roughly. I also checked the tracks, both are fine and greesed.

After closing it and opening it like 10 times consecutively the motor finally overheated and shut off so i waited two minutes for it to cool down and now it works...but still closes roughly...

Is there a better way of greesing the motor. Or someone suggested the regulator arm might be bent? Any suggestions and how to go about fixing this would be great. Thanks!!

yes regulator might be bent.....check the run channels (rubber tracks on both sides) for any tears that might have caused that

Take the assembly out and check the regulator and motors teeth.
