Shudder/jerking

Hi,
2001 ws6 46,000 miles m6, I recently did a spark plug change, had a few problems but finally got them all tighten and in and now i have a shudder randomly when I drive. It also seems to idle higher sometimes, around 900 or 850rpms. When I rev it up the rpms fall real slowly. Any advice what this may be? I did not over oil k&n air filter.

Same thing happened to me.(is this your first time changing your plugs) Make sure you gapped the plugs right. Did you use NGK? If so, they claim that their plugs are pre gapped (not True). You have a 01 TA so your gapp should be .60

If thats not the prob then,since you have new plugs your computer is getting use them. Let your computer reset itself (probably on the next 3 start ups) Good Luck!!

There is no getting used to new spark plugs. Make sure that all your plug wires are tight and like was stated earlier that they are gapped correctly. Are you getting any codes? Also if you pulled any part of your intake (lid, bellows, maf) to change them make sure that all the ducting is seated properly and hose clamps are tight plus that the lid is clamped down correctly.

All the plugs are gapped to .057, wires are tight as well. Far as I know all the duct work and lid are on tight. Its been about a half a week since the shuddering started. The shudder now does not seem to be as bad as the first time it started but it still comes once in a while which makes it worst in my opinion cause harder to show dealer. I rather fix this myself but ran out of ideas. I even put some better gas in seeing if that would help, unplugged battery for a hour-not sure if that helps reset things or not.
