I use the MSD super conductors. Not only have they worked just fine without any problems, they match my car's color scheme really well

Stockers - GMPP- now going with Taylors 10.4 due to coil relocation kit.. I had issues with Taylor stock style replacements not the 10.4's on a friends car and i think it was 3 of the wires broke when we changed his plugs. no issues with the GMPP and cost a lot less than a new set of stockers.. and they're red.. woohoo i could care less..

lol, you gotta be kidding me. unless you're car was missing like crazy before, plugs and wires aren't going to make a difference on these cars.

Personally I replaced my stock wires w/ another set of stock wires @ 45k and haven't had any problems since.

Has anybody tried the wires from TPIS? I read in a magazine somewhere that they are good quality, and shorter so there is less resistance along the way from the coil to the plug.

Any shorter and I don't think I could get the wires to connect at both ends. I can barely do it right now.

Default plugs

I know where the gas pedal is but can you come up with a solution why in colder weather (May) why my car would run 14.05 and then put new plugs and wires on it and it would run 13.71 in july

I have Taylor Spiro-Pros and have had good luck with them. We put them on when Speed Inc. did my cam and header install. I told them to put on whatever they thought was best. They put on the Taylors.

They could have put on anything they wanted. I think that says a lot.

Question GMPP Part Number?

Would anyone happen to have the General Motors Performance Parts part number for the sparkplug wires for a 2001 Camaro LS1? I guess their all the same? That way I can price them at GMPartsDirect.com or other sources. Thanks, Gar

I just replaced my stockers with MSD 8.5's (by the way, they don't make 8.8's). They went on fine. They had the double click just like the stockers. Plus they are bendable above the plug so you can get clearance with your headers.

I had MSD's and the worked flawlessly, taken off and reseated several times...
Now I'm on a custom set I made, faily easy too... check the appearance section for pics.. (custom coil relocation setup)
