driver window doesnt want to go up!

driver window doesnt want to go up! hey guys i have a 2000 formula and the driver window doesnt want to go up, like it starts to go up then it just stops, almost like it is going into overload protection in the relay or somthings, like everytime you turn the key on and off, the window will start to go up about a inch and just stop, but the passenger window goes up and down ok. what do u guys think it is, thanks for your help

Man mine went out when i was at break at my high school. I had to drive it home and get it fixed because i sure as hell wasnt goin to leave it out in the lot with a $1200 stereo system, a racing helmet that wasnt mine, and my programmer all just sitting in there. I got to miss the rest of the school day though

I just had mine replaced a couple days ago at a body shop. Cost $250 for window and installation and I had the same problem. Also my window came out of line and that cost another $175 to have fixed.
