torque arm mount install-please help

torque arm mount install-please help well, i i was going down the road the other day and i start hearing a clunking. i get under the car and it turns out the top for the torque arm mount was missing so the torque arm was hitting the tunnel/trans. its a manual 6 speed car. So a guy off another forum had an extra that he sent me. the problem is i cannot get the bolt that he sent me up into the mount because the tunnel is the way. is this normal or did he send me the wrong bolt? do you have to drop the tranny to get the top bolt in?

If your talking about the bolt that holds the torque arm to the tranny, I had the same problem. What I did was pull the torque arm out, get the bolt STARTED, then slide the torque arm back in and tighten down the bolt. It is a very tedious job, I know.....
