Creaking noise
Creaking sound, help needed!! What is strange is that it does not happen all the time. If get in the car and take a 20 minute ride. it will not happen.
If a take a 20 mile ride through traffic, over some bad roads, then I get a creaking sound. It sounds suspension related, but then it also sounds like a transmission member noise.
It also seems to only happen when going slowly.
Is there any notorious culprits to look for? Could it be control arm bushings, do these do this (my first LS1 f-body)?
It as a 00' WS-6 M6 with 73K miles.

WD-40 wont work, the squek will just come right back after a few miles...i've tried taht 4 times now almost wasting 2 full cans of it on the bushings, you need to get inside were the rubber meets the metal with some good GREASE.

I think he ment to use the wd-40 as a way to "find" the problem ... not solve it. Once you locate the culprit then grease to your hearts content or change it out for new as reccomended above
