does anyone know if the truck compressors from 5.3L will fit on my 1999 camaro ss.Or do yall know a good place to get a new ac delco compressor.

Well, I don't know if they're compatible or not, but they do have different part numbers. ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
If you want a new one, here's the part number for what you'd need for the Camaro... could order one from any GM parts dealer (give our sponsor SDPC a call):
LS1 AC compressor (with clutch) (98-02 LS1) (AC-Delco #15-20730) = 1137028 (formerly 1137014)

a compressor, imo, seems ot be a sensitive part meaning when a compressor goes bad and looses its ring integrity, it scatters them and ruins everything.
I wouldnt get a used, maybe one that is rebuilt but not used.
