Window problems again Got more problems with my window again. I had replaced the window motor a few months ago because it had died and now almost the same problem is happening again. Where the window will stop going up and down, but im pretty positive that its not the motor because it will jus stop, it wont slow down then stop like before, and if i let it sit for a while then try it again, it still wont work, so its not a problem of the motor over heating.
could someone please throw me some ideas to why my window sometimes fails on me. thanx everyone

maybe there is a loose connection somewhere, you might want to take the door panel off and check the wires that go into the control buttons, and make sure the power connection is cliped snug onto the window motor itself.
i have had this problem with all 3 of my trans ams. it usually is worse when its raining or when i wash the car. i think its something in the switch itself. if i leave it alone for a while or do a burn out it usually starts working again. i dont think the burnout causes it to work tho
