Default Replacing lower ball joints & bushings

I will be replacing my front upper and lower ball joints, tie rod ends, and A-arm bushings soon. I was wondering if I will need to find a hydraulic press for the ball joints (lower)? Is there another way to get them off and get new ones in? I'm wondering if it will be needed for the bushings also. Has anybody done this with a bench mounted vise? Thanks.

buy a ball joint press from harbor freight...without it changing ball joints will be hard.
