There is no such thing as a "non-critical" hole in the block...

how much did you pay for the extended warranty? those warranty companies do that all the time. I would never pay extra to put up with the crap they are dealing you. Personally I would have used the money (if you payed extra for it) for these problems in the future.

Well, if they try and screw you, I hope they do a shoddy job so that it'll blow after u take it out of the shop, and you can sue em or something.

hmmmm......I wonder if a repaired block will hold up if you hold the gas pedal to the floor in park for about 30 mins.....I would hate to see them buy another motor after they spend all that time and money to " repair a hole in the block."

When you say you missed third twice, do you mean you just missed third gear or you went into first instead of third? The first is no big deal....the second is a big deal.

oh god no, i just didn't get it in gear... definitely didn't jam it in to first... lol

but my good friends at the warrantee company had just notified me after they had the damn thing for a MONTH, that my warrantee is void because it had performance parts in it, unbeknownst to any of the involved parties... my car dealer said he was going to reimburse me for the money i had to front for the shop to do the work, and we'll see what we can do about the car, it basically comes down to either him getting me a new engine, or in the worst case, just reimbursing me for the cost of the car... i REALLY hope it's the first, because i got sooo attatched it's not even funny...

i'll keep you all posted on the happenings, and maybe if you know someone in the area of york PA selling a 2002 black z28, let me know!

but like i said, hopefully i just don't have to go down that road.
