Which suspension/mounts are most likely to creak/groan? It doesn't do it all the time, but I get a creaking/groaning from something passenger seats forward at times.
If I bounce on the car I can sometimes make it happen.
Any initial directions to look in?

no...just the rubber bushings squeeking.
could be the tranny mount.....BUT i would bet its coming from the back of the car. your so close to it that prolly sounds like its in the middle. squeeks are hard to pinpoint really.
