passenger-side spark plugs
Actually, #6 was the roughest one on our WS6. For #8, I got under the car, and once I loosened the plug, the rest was easy considering the strange contortions I had to put my arm through. As for the rest of the passenger side, you can take off the coil packs(or the rail with the coils on it for 99-up) and the AIR tube to make for more room. Expect severe road rash on your arms at any rate.
It took me a while to get at that last plug, but next time it won't take long at all. Remove your coil packs and AIR pipe, as has already been mentioned. I came at mine from the top with my right hand. That's what did the trick overall.
I think maybe next time I'll just do that one first and coast through the rest.

After that I took the coil pack rail off completely (gives you room)
With those two items removed, it took me 15 minutes to change the plugs. I used a 3inch extension and a spark plug socket for 2 and 4, and I just used a spark plug socket for 6 & 8. 6 & 8 were tight, I had to hold the ratchet vertically, and I had a narrow range of movement, but I got those out relatively easy.
The only other thing I would have moved out of the way was the dipstick.....it was an annoyance.
The hardest part of the whole job was that stupid 5th bolt on the coil pack rail.....
after hearing of all the issues with spark plug changing i tried to get #8 from the bottom but it was impossible on my car. i could see the hole but had no chance of snaking my arm up there with the headers in the way. with the coilpacks and valvecovers off, i had a ton of room.
