Default may be a dumb question...

but can too much coolant cause your car to heat up? im running no thermostat right now and for some reason when i do 0-like 100/120 pulls, my car heats up from like 180-210 and then goes back down again when i get off it.. usually the car sits a little below 180..

i would guess that the water pump is pushing the water too fast through the engine and doesnt have enough time to absorb the heat from the engine

thats exactly what happens when you take the thermostat out. Put it back in.
