Pinging is Gone Yay!
I have all sorts of papercut like cuts on my hands from changing plugs, cleaning the MAF, and running some Sea Foam through the motor.... and it seems it paid off.
This morning I was able to tap the rev limiter without any pinging whatsoever. It was a little cool this morning, so the real test is going to be when I take the car out this afternoon...... so if it all goes good... then

I'm glad that a little maintenance seemed to take care of it. I think if it sticks around, then that stupid 85 descreened MAF is definitely the culprit.

I used electrical connection cleaner, the non-residue type. Cleaning the MAF is a good thing if its dirty. Take a look at yours and see if there is dirt buildup.... if not then no worries. If you have a little bit, then just take some electrical connection cleaner, and spray it on there and let it do its work.
