low coolant warning?

low coolant warning? every once and awhile the car will throw a low coolant warning....today i got off my lazy *** and checked the coolant and it was full.....does this mean its a faulty sensor? what else should i check? TIA

sensor can be faulty or it can be that your radiator cap isnt holding the correct pressure.
dealership replaced my sensors, and was about to pull the heads because they thought it was a blown head gasket and it ended up only being the cap
