Default window rolls up very slowly

i replaced my driver window motor last week...during the process (dont ask how) but this spring came out .....i thought i put it back in right but the window goes down alot faster than it goes up. Now it hardly goes up at all, soooo slow...is it possible i put that spring in backwards or upside down or something? the spring it attached to the bracket that holds the motor.....it was a mess to say the least.

There is a good explanation on how to replace your window motor here:
Window Motor Help

However, the picture of the spring you're talking about isn't the greatest but maybe it'll help....
This site also has a lot of help for other problems. Just found it today and I think its pretty cool!

Did you buy a new or used motor? I replaced my driver motor a couple years ago and my passenger window is starting to go. It takes 30 seconds to roll up!

From time to time, I hear someone mention cables and pulleys that need to be lubed to free up the mechanism. Do all F-bodies have them? Mine ('99 T/A) does not appear to have cables and/or pulleys.
TIA

I can't tell you how many times I've heard the 'lube-the-cable' solution on this and other forums.
Thanks for confirming my thoughts.
