Hydraulics on hatch

How expensive is it to replace the hydrolics on the hatch? Mine seem to be worn out... it doesnt want to stay up it closes slowly..

my 95 TA had the same issue, I just sold the thing though. On my 5.0 the struts cost about $22 a piece. shouldnt be much more for the TA.

It's an Fbody, you can use a 2x4 in place of the hatch shocks!

J/k.... I believe they are in the $20 range. Its been a while since I have had to do that, and I seem to remember paying in that neighborhood...
