Hello. I've got a 2000 Trans Am, manual transmission. I'm having a problem when attemting to start the car. I get in, push the clutch all the way in, turn to START and nothing happens. I turn back to ON, then go back to START and it will then crank and start. Why the intermittent problem not cranking? Is the starter solenoid going bad? Please help!! Thanks!

Most likely the starter solenoid having intermittent problems. I have seen the neutral safety switch do that too. It's on the clutch pedal(not likely the problem)You also have starter relay in your underhood fusebox that could do it as well.
