Window track problem fix
Window track problem fix I was just driving along like usual when I got a little bit cold and deciced to put up the windows. To my surprise my driver side window only went up about half way and then started binding and flexing the door panel out. Got home and tore apart the door. Turns out that the guide had broken out of the track. It also ripped out of the piece of sheet metal it was connected to. Being a machinist, I just took the small tapered piece to the shop drilled and tapped, put in some thread lock with a screw and washer, and tightened it on the cracked sheet metal insanely hard. If anyone else has this problem pm me. It's a failproof fix.
Same Trouble I have a problem when rollimg the drivers side up it wants to curl inward to the point where i have to push out while rolling it up I havent yet taken the panel off to see but when I do I'll be sure to look back at this thread to get some help thanks.
