Off Subject ne one who knows about MOtorcycles please enter

My 2001 KX125 is having some problems...when i try starting it in gear witt he clutch pulled allt he way in it rocks forward like it wants to move..and when the bike is turned off in gear i can push it forward slowly...

i know something wit the clutch is goin out but ne ideas?

the clutch isnt disengauging.....maybe the cable stretched out.....try adjusting the cable

yeah its either out of adjustment or cluth is going.have to open it up to find out.

first try adjusting the cable. you should be able to fit a quarter between your clutch lever and the clutch perch. if the cable checks out i would say you need new clutch springs. if you have to replace the springs you mine as well spend another $75 and put new friction/pressure plates in the clutch basket.

well it sounds like its not disengaging all the way... to make sure have a friend get a screw driver and pull the lever on the moror forward while you turn it over once or twice and see if it still happens... sounds like a worn out cable to me. when they start to go out it gets hard to pull and gives you really bad arm pump after 10mins of riding
