WTF! Car wont start.
Well I left the lights on and the battery died so I jumpstarted the car, let it run for a bit shut it off and started it again without the jumpers and it did then I tried one last time and it didnt again. Now it wont even jump. everything else works except the car wont turn over at all. Any advice?

check the battery and conectors. I had my stock battery rupture, and it leaked and ate away at the side of my engine bay for about a month. Just check everthing around the battery. Good luck

I bet your lock cylinder is broken where it needs to make contact with the resistor on the key. Mine did the same thing, would make good contact in the OFF and ON position, but lost contact when the key was turned to ON. You will either need to replace your lock cylinder, or trick your VATS with a resistor if that is the problem. http://shbox.com/1/air_bag_disc_2.jpg You can see the VATS connector there, just unplug it and put a resistor of the same resistance as your key in and see if it will start. Make sure you let the car sit for a bit before doing this because sometimes if you try to many times to start it, it will lock you out for half an hour or something.

Ok I got it to start but the security light is staying on now. How do I get it to turn off? It starts without the resistor in . I just cut the wires and it starts. Should I put the resistor in or just leave it out?

Had the SAME EXACT problem, it has to do with the lock cylinder in the security system. The only way my car would start is if I push started it (M6). And the security light would always stay on. Thats your problem. I took it to the dealer and it wasnt cheap
