Pulsing lights??

Pulsing lights???? When driving at night I notice that my dash lights and interior lights pulse, just enough were it bugs me. I took it to the dealer cuz its under warranty and they said it was the battery. So they replaced it, I thought sweet no more pulsing lights...WRONG. I took it back and they said that the way the alternator is designed it shuts off when the battery is at full charge and then comes back on when the battery pulls down. I was a mechanic for quite some time at a chevy dealership and I have never seen anything like this, nor have I heard of a charging system like this? Should I just take it to another dealer and have them look at it? Plus after this incident I wonder if my battery was even bad to begin with?

I have the same problem. I took the car to many places but they didn't know what was wrong with it. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but since this problem appeared, I’ve changed my head lights and signal lights twice and my fog light once in a six months period. 
that is a common porb with these LSx cars. its something to do with the rectifier like eveyone has said. mine does it sometimes and it annoys me to death. it will stay till it dies though. i am a poor college student
