Default problems at part throttle

so as i start the ol' hawk up and put away this morning, i was greeted with an unfamiliar shutter. It had the feel of a series of misfires, the car would barely move at part throttle, and i could hear it trying. Pushing into it a little further snaps it back into reality and it gets going seemingly unbothered. Until the same part throttle acceleration is applied, then the drag *** game continues. Everything appeared normal under hood, and the car is idling fine. I'm speculating something to do with my fuel filter, or perhaps a bad o2? can anybody confirm my speculation and perhaps narrow it down some with experience. as always thanks in advance. -g

update.. after a day of it being like this and driving periodically i have noticed that it only starts acting up after a few minutes of driving. when the car is first started, regardless of whether its cold or not, it drives normally. if no one has anything, i guess ill hit the auto store this weekend and start the fun process of troubleshooting. -g

check your ECT (engine coolant temp)sensor, or your air intake temp sensor maybe failing or getting a incorrect reading. if those dont help You may wanna swap out your MAF with a friend and see if that helps and you may want to test your Idle air control module too if that doesnt work. I had some of those same issues with mine a week or so back.

yea, i was thinking fuel filter as well, ill get around to swappin it along with the oil and a very thorough inspection. I went to get the car scanned yesterday and the only 2 codes i didnt recognize(egr, air removed) was a ckt bank 2 sensor 2 no signal. the same code was pulled twice. I dont know if it is the sensor that is causing the car to run like it is, but is likely. i also wanted to change out the mafs, tps and intake sensor, just to narrow it down a little but once you buy any electronic component, your stuck with it. Which makes troubleshooting a little bit harder. anyone who is not having this problem and is at or near vandenberg cali please let me know. good luck to everyone who is sharing my pain on this one. -g

http://gearchatter.com/

Look up the codes in here, it will give U a description of what it is and what it does. Look under your year model under DTC codes.

It's good to post the actual code numbers (whether you recognize them or not)...
