U-Joint How can you tell if a u-joint is bad. My car has developed a rattle at slow speeds when coasting. If the car is in gear it dosen't make the noise.Maybe a broken tranny mount? I put the car up on ramps today an started pulling and pushing on everything like the exhaust , suspension parts , etc but can't reproduce the noise. My driveshaft has a little bit of play in it when i twist it. Any idea's?
