headlight trouble

Default headlight trouble

ok i just got rid of my truck and got a 95 trans am. both headlights come up fine but when i go to put them down the motor in the driver side keeps turning after its already down. just wonderin it anyone knows what the fix for this is. and another thing my driver side t-top handle doesnt want to turn. solutions would be helpful

New headlight motor from ebay and i dunno about the t-top. Never had problems with those.
The headlight motors are notorious for going out on the firebirds

brent franker, has a fix kit for the headlight, i have used it, not that hard, just a bit time consuming to let the poxy set

the headlight gear needs to be flipped, if it has already been flipped by the previous owner then you should just go ahead and get the brass gears.

to whoever said the motor is bad, if the motor was bad why would it KEEP rotating the torn up gear?
