Default '97 Formula WS-6 wont start

A buddy of mine has a '97 formula WS-6 that wont start. He ran out of gas 1 time and now the fuel pump sounds as if it doesnt even kick on. Were are he fuses or fuel pump relays located on the '97 Formulas. We sprayed startinf fluid in it and it starts but dies right away cuz like I said its like it isnt getting fuel.

Thanks for any advice
Nick

Not sure where the relay is, but there is a good chance that the fuel pump may have overheated and become damaged when he ran out of fuel....

Those pumps (and ours too) depend on fuel for both lubrication and cooling, running out of gas, even once, can kill a fuel pump, usually it takes more than once, but I've heard of several cases it only took one time.
If you're lucky it's only the fuse/relay that's bad, if not, tank dropping time
