noise at 2000rpm

noise at 2000rpm My car makes a rattling noise or some thing every time i press on the gas an Rpm goes to 2000 
then it stops. but when i have it on park it dosent make that noce. Some one told me that is because i have to replace the tension. What do you all think it is? I am new to this site my first time doing this.

On a serious note, what kind of noise is it? Squeeks, rattle, grinding?
