Have you checked your fuses? After that I would check the grounds.

Mine are out too. They came on then went out again. I saw somewhere how to take out the bulbs and change them. I will see if I can't find them.

Check out some of these write ups:
http://www.evlls1.com/ls1.html
The 3 buttons are all in a one piece pod that just pulls right out. You could replace the whole pod, or take it apart and try to wire in new lights.
Same for the door handle bezel. A new piece will have the light in it.

I figured you would say that. It's easier to just replace it. There are two diffeent types. One has dimpled buttons, the other has just smooth buttons. One is about $15 and the other is like $60. But I forget which is which???

There is nothing wrong with removing the airbag. It will not explode on you for without reason.

I changed the lights (bulbs) inside mine. I got the bulb at Radio Schack. I had to do a bit of soldering but it was not hard at all. Bulb cost 5-7 dollars!!

I am probably going to need them sooner or later so I wouldn't mind. As long as it is no trouble for you. Seems like stuff on my car goes out from time to time even though it is a 2002.

In the write up it mentions it will be brighter with the lamp described. I used this one and it lights up as the factory one. (I only replaced one side)
