Evaporative emissions canister purge solenoid valve
Evaporative emissions canister purge solenoid valve- I replaced this after cracking it during a tune up. How can i keep the SES light from coming back on? I pulled the ing and pcm fuses and left them out for 15 min key on and the light came back on after 4 days of normal(for me at least) driving. Is there something else about this part that requires further work? Or should I get it scanned at autostupid or advanced auto? When they scan the car can they diagnois the problem or just tell me the code thrown?

From: Live Oak, FL - in the woods where the creatures lurk.
That's weird. I broke mine also, on the purge end going to the front of the
intake.
Ran for 2 or 3 days like that until Advance could get one. Never had a code.
Sure you're getting a code for the Evap solenoid?
Could be something else popping up. Get the codes checked and post
back up.

Definitely get it scanned. They'll either do it for you or let you do it yourself. Its a handheld computer that plugs in and will give you a code and a description. That should help...

so i got it scanned and it threw out a PO134
and the kid looked at his little book and said that it maybe a o2 sensor or running lean or rich. I descreened the maf. Is that the cause of this code. Car has 102700 miles on it.
