noises after spark plug and wire swap
??? so after spark plug and wire swap, my exhaust seems to be popping more. i dont know if this is a good thing or a bad thing? what is it? also, i know have a ticking comming from underneath my car. its not comming from up in the engine bay and i cant figure out what it is. i dont have and check lights on. so what could it be? thanks!!

I would check and make sure they are all snapped on good and toight :/goldmember:
SES light wont come on untill you have MULTIPLE missfires (i think), so i would check everything out.
....Also, the part of the plug that snaps into the boot loves tocome unscrewed while stuck in the boot, not allowing good contact. I had this problem once and had hell gettin thing out. I ended up screwing an old plug into the little cap after knocking the insulator part off so it would go in far enough. Hope this helps!

The exhaust popping is def a spark plug boot not on good. Trust me I know, its happened to me many of times with my stock plugs, so I went with MSDs. Stockers kept coming off after a couple hundred miles.
what about gapping, do you have them gapped right? ive heard if they arent gapped right you will get a popping also, but check the wires first and if that dont fix it then check the plug gap.

Yes, you just probably need to pull the wires off and snap them on good. Check the part i mentioned earlier (part that screws onto plug, that wire snaps onto) and make sure its screwed onto the plug all the way.
