Clutch vibration in 1st gear??

Clutch vibration in 1st gear?? Hey guys i am about to take a look at a 93 TA lt1, M6
the guy says that if you take off in first gear, the clutch seems to vibrate???
and apparently a mechanic told him that it was a shield.. but in other gears does not do the vibration.
Need to know quick...
