Default Crooked wheel?

I dont know if any of you have done this but i was making a left turn into a two story parking lot and cut the turn to tight, i went up the curve with the rear left tire (not going fast at all, more like at a roll) and then the tire slid off the curve catching my lip. It left some damage to the rim and they are 17x11. Can my alignment be affected, i mean, how easily can the rear tires move out of place to the point where they get crooked, i figure i would have felt the car kinda shaky. As a matter of fact it looks like it is a bit out more from the bottom and a bit tucked in from the top. Any info would help. Thanks.

i think discount tire does free wheel balancing. i'd see if the wheel will balance and if it does, it should be ok. if the wheel is too much out-of-round, it won't balance.
