replacing idler pulley need help

Default replacing idler pulley need help

i am going to replace my idler pulley to get rid of that horrible chirp. i read you should torque it afterwards but is this really needed? would it matter if i just tightened it?

Yeah just tighten it and if you want a little more peace of mind then use some red loctite on the bolt.

Just tighten it. I replaced mine after it went out on me this weekend.

just slap it on and tighten it!!!
