Default Cat converts?

my cats are rattling and they make a real bad sound in the exhaust, my questino is will gm replace this for me or no? i thought that heard they were still under a original warranty my car has 49,000 miles and the warranty is up on it. the part for emisions or something

Assuming the cats are bad, GM should replace them under the emissions warranty. I beleive it is 8 years/80K miles.

they will probly tell you its going to cost 80 bucks or so for the diagnostic, if its the cat, you dont pay a thing. If its not your out 80 bones.
