Antifreeze??

Antifreeze question?? ok ive been back and forth with this one and im trying to make a choice, ive read some of the threads argueing it back and forth. i know the green stuff is bad dont use it, it rotts aluminum. i was planning on doing a good flush and running dexcool again,but i keep having people tell me not to cause it just sucks and people have seen it gunk up and block passages and **** like that. now i hear people have luck with it also, what should i use, my only other thought was that yellow stuff thats suposed to to work with everything, how is that stuff any bad thoughts or expeiriances with it in our LS1's or is it the only other good alternitive to dex with no ill side effects like the green stuff?

I always use Dexcool in all my new(er) GM cars. Never had it "gum up" anything. Only time that will happen is if you don't change the fluid often enough or you let the system run low on fluid (too much air).

One more vote for the dexcool I have never had a "gunk" problem either. I have had to change the fluid quite often due to moding so mine is always fresh. I also use it in my 96 cavalier and havent had any problems with it in the past 30k miles when I replaced the head gasket.
change it every couple years and you'll have no problems.
I had a 97 sonoma and put 100k on it without ever touching the cooling system. Now, I won't do that in my firebird. I change mine every other year.
