Default Lock Cylinder Broken?

I recently had my car alarm/keyless entry installed. But the keyless entry only works for the passenger side, I noticed earlier that when I shut the car off, after locking the doors while driving, only the passenger side unlocks also. The Driver side lock, actually locks... but you have to slide the bar over manually. I'm wondering if this is my lock cylinder, or the entire lock... not quite sure what the difference is, but I know that the parts stores have the lock cylinder, and the actual lock itself. It is kind of annoying having a new keyless entry system and still unlocking my car with the key.

Any help would be appreciated :-).

Anyone? I would like to get this fixed, and have some idea of what it is before I tear into the side paneling on my car.

That Would Not Have Any Thing To Do With The Cylinder. The Cylinder Is Just A Mechanical Link To The Lock. I Would Take It Back To The Installer And Have Then Check For Wires Hooked Up Wrong.

It was being like that before they messed with anything, but I suppose I can check it out and see what's up.
