I use a couple of greasy rags stuffed in a can. It's the new wave...

Good for at least 10 hp.

I have ran almost all of them and can't really tell the difference in any of them in performance. Now if you cut them open big difference. I will only use the k&n now, very good build quality.

I've ran K&N, no problems. I bought a K&N filter for my car a week ago too.

My oil pressure increased when I went from a/c delco to the long type k&n. Since then, it's the only one that I use. I usually pick mine up at advanced auto for whoever was asking on the 2nd page.

Any one know if the Napa Gold #FIL1522 filter has that anti-drainback thing?
I been using the PF59 but now they don't make them anymore
An it just bothers me that the K&N #2006 has that nut on the end of it
that makes it hang a little low.

Thanks Mike

So why not switch to the K&N 1007? I have no choice but to run this size on my C5, but yet it's given me great oil analysis results.

As far as the NAPA Gold filter, yes it's got the antidrainback valve in it. You can tell when you look at the top of the filter, you'll see an orange ring of rubber at the top, just below the holes. That's a silicone antidrainback valve. (the black ones are nitrile rubber)

If the nut on the K&N HP-2006 bottoms out I think you're going to have bigger issues than just a busted oil filter

I'am sure that 1007 would be great filter.
Like i said i was using the PF59 because of the antidrainback feature an i could run 6 quarts of oil because of it's size,an not read over full on my dipstick.
I pretty sure i could run 6 anyway but that's just me.

Thanks Mike
