The NAPA Gold filters are very good filters, I've run them in the past on my cars actually. FWIW, they are identical to Wix, Kralinator and Carquest premium.

Hmm, I have been using the Bosch filters lately since it was priced between the mobil 1 and everything else. Anyone know the quality of these filters?

 

just had a long conversation with a parts manager from GM. They are still making the PF 59, he ahd like 40 in stock, and he even checked to see if they where still avail. from GM and they are?

Who said they stopped making them?

I wasn't aware they stopped making the PF59. I got an oil change coming soon and I'll get to the bottom of this.

 

I vote for anything with a nut like the k&n after doing my first oil change with the car with LT headers, and not being able to get a wrench on. Grrr....

 

I'd say out of all of the ones on the list the K&N is the best because it has a very strong anti drain valve. But how come i dont see Wix filter in the poll?

 

Yep its true those filters are made by Wix.

I remember that Walmart Super Tech was rated above Fram. My Jeep loves super tech.

 

Is this similar to the larger KN?(2006) Also wondering if the AC Delco filters have anti-drainback valve? What's the diff. between PF59 & PF61?
