Bars Leak...will it help a blown head gasket
I'm just trying to hold out a little longer.
I'm certain I have a blown HG, I have oil in my coolant and white smoke when I start it up and go WOT from a cruising speed. I also have to add 2-3 cups of water/coolant every 2-3 days. No biggie really.
So, can it hurt anything to try?

Hey guy,
I used it a lot over the years.
In an emergency I would use it.
Dunno about the current product, in years past it had a
high metallic content (go figure... )
Very good to clog radiator, etc., if run over a long time.
For a stop-gap measure I've used it for radiators that I
eventually had cleaned.
I have never used it for a head gasket leak.
Your call.

If you want to go that route use the GM Cadillac "pellets" they came up with for the late 80's early 90's caddy motors with the same problem, they are brown in color(LOL) but they do a good job of sealing up a leak like the one you are describing.
