check gauges flickers

Default check gauges flickers

ok so whenever i romp on it. my check gauges light flickers at me and i look down at my gauges and everything looks fine. oil pressure is up around 60-65, temp is around 170 and volts were 13. so has anyone ever had this happen? when i say flickers i mean flickers it doesnt stay on long at all it just flickers so if anyone has any info i would love some help thanks

I had the same problem in my 98 Fbird. Turned out to be the damned positive battery terminal connection. I pulled back the cover and treated the eye with battery terminal cleaner and a wire brush. Found some new bolts (i guess that's what you call them) to connect the eye to the side terminals dirt cheap at Autozone. Treated generously with some di-electric silicone grease (Autozone employee gave out for free). 5-10 minutes tops (not including trip to Autozone).
