Wind noise with window up

Wind noise with window up I have a 02 SS. The window molding/stip is in very good shape..not dried out or cracked at all.
When I am cruising at speeds of about 40 mph+ there is a very noticeable wind noise. It is coming at the very bottom or the window 9almost where it meets the window seal). I can see that there is a very small gap between the window and the seal. What would cause this? How can I fix it? Anyone else have this issue?

Well it sounds like you need to adjust your windows, their is a very good write up on how to do it HERE And to remove the door panel and get to those parts can be found HERE Like the guy says in the write up just have pertinence and set some time aside to be ready to allot of trial and error. It's not that bad just time consuming, its a good way to get some bonding time in with your car. LOL, hope this helps..

window adjustment or door hinge replacement? I have the same issue on the driver's side door but 2 buddies of mine (in the know, if you listen to them) claim that before I get into the window adjusting nightmare, I should adress the possibility that the door hinges may be sagging? Mine is a 98 Fbird with 125k-ezmiles. I believe I climb in and out of my car probably more than the average joe during any given weekday-my knees tell me so. Maybe my hinges are sagging. Is this something I should dare attempt or leave to the pros? -- or am I on the wrong path here?

I just replaced my lower drivers side door hinge this past weekend. It was not a pleasurable experience I can say that, but it also wasn’t the hardest. The lower hinge is the most expensive if you plan on replacing it. (something like $50 or so)
I did my own because I cant stand to pay someone for something that I know that I can do. If you have time on a nice day give it a shot. The hardest part is getting tools in there to work with. That was made easier by taking out the wheel well shroud (removing the bolts so that you can at least pull it back to get you arm in there.) After that let the games begin. remember to just adjust A LITTLE at a time and you should be good to go.
