All my 4th gen F-bodies have listed 30psi as the recommended pressure for both front and rear. This info can be found on a sticker on the inside edge of the driver's door.

thanks guys. what about the 38 psi for 100+ driving? i mean, the tire tends to rise and shape inward when moving, so wouldnt it make sense to have lower pressure? just a thought

I'm guessing you're running the stock or equivalent tire which says 44 psi max. In this case I'd run every bit of 38 psi giving yourself a good 6 psi of play in case you hit a big pothole or there is a drastic increase in temperature. As nwe all know from High School/College Chem the drastic influence of temperature upon a gases volume. I personally run 38 psi on my stock tires in the winter and 45 psi on my Eagle F1 GSD3's in the summer (they have a max of 51 psi). The handling at this config can't be beat. Tread wear is excellent. I personally like to run my tires high and have never had a problem as long as you give yourself a good 6 psi of play. Mess around with the setup and find something that works for you.

I've had two F bodies (01 and a third gen, 91) and both said keep them at 30psi cold. I ran 35 in front on the 3rd gen and 32 on the rear and rotated them every 7000 miles. This caused a bald stripe to be worn into the middle of the tires prematurely. I now keep them at 30psi like GM suggests.

The reason I keep my fronts filled harder is cuz I live right by an Interstate exit on/off ramp that I use alot. So that is alot of driving in circles cuz it's the typical cloverleaf designed junction. I was getting the outside edges of my fronts worn off very quickly. But once I started running the fronts harder, like 38 psi, they started wearing more evenly.
