Prestone Universal Antifreeze
Prestone Universal Antifreeze I picked up a jug at autozone yesterday by mistake. I saw that it was in a different container than the green stuff so i grabbed it without looking to see if it's dexcool compatible. It doesn't directly say it's dexcool compatible but it does say it will work with ALL make vehicle ALL models and ANY color antifreeze. Question is, should i put it in my car or pay the $22 for dexcool at the dealer?

ok...i work at autzone here in town they told us that you CAN...put any long life (5 year/150,000) into dexcool however GM says only dexcool can be added to dexcool. all autozones can get preston GM approved dexcool if you want give me a pm and i'll give you the part number so they can order it for you should be around 10 bucks...
personally i only put dexcool back into my car i don't trust peak, and prestone on somthing that could potentonaly destroy my car.
