Default jack stand placement

dumb question...if I want to put the car p on 2 jack stands..or 4...where shoudl i put them?

depends on what you wanna do. i usually use the control arms or the subframe for the front and subframe or rear end in the back.

well..tomorrow...i'm taking off the rear rotors..and getting them cut so they are straight, putting them back on and doing the pads with them for the rear, but i also wanted to remove my cat back...so i'd like the rear end to hang. and if i could do the front..I just wanted to take off my wheels and polish them..with the rears and paint my front calipers. I'm not mechanically stupid...I've just never needed to take off more than one wheel before..lol

There little notches on each corner of the car where the jack "teeth" should fit perfectly.
